The AMH2K-7N is designed for standard plumbing systems with a dedicated return line and is compatible with standard water tanks (non-tankless). The circulator installs into the dedicated return line at the water heater.
The AMH2K-7N is the On-Demand version of the AMH2K-7 Hot Water Recirculation Kit and does not include a timer. The On-Demand system allows the circulator to be activated remotely using a compatible remote, wall switch, motion sensor, or other On-Demand control. Once activated, the pump operates for up to 5 minutes or until the water temperature reaches 105°F, whichever occurs first.
